COVID-19 Safety Precautions & Changes
We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19
It's been a long and challenging time for all of us and I want to say thank you to those of you who bought gift cards, booked ahead, and for your referrals. It means the world to me to have your support as a small business.
Upon reopening I will be at a new location: 437 Boylston Street, 5th floor. I will be able to offer more availability here as well as have time for home clients. I do not have an exact reopening date as I'm standing by for specific guidelines from the state, although I have ordered what I presume will be sufficient. I am planning on the end of June reopening. Home visits are available beginning June 8, you may reach out to me via email. text, or on Instagram to set up a home visit appointment.
What date are we reopening? There is no official reopening date at this time as I am standing by for further guidance from the state.
Here are some other changes:
New price structure for bodywork: I will offer Neuromuscular Therapy for specific orthopedic issues at a cheaper rate due to the high frequency (usually weekly for 4-6 weeks at first), of visits required for long term change. Therapeutic/recovery/maintenance Bodywork will remain at the same rates. My website is currently being updated to reflect this.
Personal Training: As soon is allowed, I will be offering personal training out of the AAPT (located at 561 Boylston Street, 3rd floor)! I will only be able to take a limited number of serious clients who are willing to commit to themselves and the process!
For in-home: I will wear a fresh mask, remove my shoes, and wear fresh clean clothes for every client. Clean linens are always provided for everyone. Universal precautions in handwashing followed by sanitizer is performed before/after every client. Massage tools and lotion bottles sanitized after every client with hospital grade disinfectant. Home clients will be limited to 2 houses on the same day and I will not enter a house in which anyone has any symptoms of illness. I will also wear gloves.
For the Office: I have purchased a face shield, masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, more linens, and a UV-C air purifier. The air purifier will be run throughout the day. Everyone in the office is required to wear a mask, and we will adhere to all necessary PPE within state guidelines. There will be 30 min of time between each person to clean for strict cleaning and prevention of client overlap.
